Instructions for the ABAdog^® questionnaire:

The length of the questionnaire

will range from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the behavior of your dog.

If you log out or leave at any stage

your progress will be saved to your account up to (but not including) the current page you are on. Please simply finish the page and proceed to the next page to save your progress. Simply visit www.abadog.com and log back in to resume from where you left off.

Take your time

have a break whenever you want. Do it over a few days if need be, but not weeks as you may forget what you have already answered.

Don't be a perfectionist

The questions and your answers don't need to perfectly reflect reality. ABAdog uses pattern matching accross the entire questionnaire, so approximate answers are sufficient! ABAdog will analyze all of your responses to recognize the general pattern of behavior that your dog is displaying. Most dogs fit into one of the common patterns of behavior that we regularly see. This means that individual questions do not have to be perfectly accurate. If you make a mistake, or a question doesn't reflect things perfectly, it doesn't matter! Just try to answer the questions as well as you can.

Read the questions carefully

if you enter incorrect information then you may get a behavioral report that is not completely accurate.

You can't change your answers

you can only go backwards in this questionnaire within each section, so it is strongly advised that you check your answers before moving to the next section.

Never test your dog your dog to find out the answer to any of the questions asked anywhere in this questionnaire. Answer questions from your memory only.
